Feelings After Camp

Please check out feelings before camp underneath this post. Sorry this piece of writing took so long.

As soon as I hoped out of the car I started to admirer the beautiful camp ground Sage,Freya and I were in a cabin together. Our cabin was called Grey Warbler and we all know Grey Warbler is not a haunted name but it did seem like our cabin Grey Warbler was haunted.

Anyway we unpacked our stuff and headed to our first activity.

Our first activity was supposed to be kayaking but it was bee mania out where we were supposed go kayaking.

Instead of kayaking we did the spider web you had to go in and out of the little and big holes without touching the rope forming the spider web. After we got the hang of going 1 by 1 we did all sorts of challenges and then we moved onto the confidence course.

We had to do this rope thing were the ropes went wider and wider it was a tough challenge none of the people in my activity group completed it.

But that didn't matter all that matters is that we tried as hard as we could so we moved onto this balance beam it was easy really easy in my opinion.

The next activity challenged me a lot you had to walk, climb and balance on this rope course thing. You had to walk across this not too thin or thick rope it had thin bits on the side for you to hold onto I almost fell off.

When I finished that part I moved onto another rope the same size as the one I just did and you had to hold on to these dangling bits that were about right in front of your face.

That one was much easier than the first part of the course. The next part on the course was walking across these tires that were hanging from a tree above us I wobbled a lot. The hardest part was climbing around the tree I felt like I was going fall of but luckily Kelvin was behind me in case I fell of the tree. Anyway I made it across the tree then there was a rope climbing sort of thing it hurt your hands a lot. My hands were still aching when I moved onto the last part it was pretty much the same as the first part of the rope course thing I made it across and finally we were finished that activity.

I walked back to my cabin and it was locked! I asked sage and Freya if they locked the cabin they said know so I got keys. I unlocked the cabin without looking inside of the cabin then I                                                                                                                                                   gave the keys back to Mrs Mcallister. After I handed the keys back I looked at our cabin and Sage and Freya said come here. I ran down to our cabin and ?
suit cases were open.

Anyway

We headed to one of my favorite parts of camp THE WATERSLIDE it was huge with a capital H. It also had a lot of sheep poo beside it it stunk a lot. Besides the sheep poo it was so much fun. After that fun we had more fun we went on a flying fox it zoomed and was also so much fun.

After all that fun Sage Freya and I went to go have a shower the wait for a shower took like twenty minutes for one shower to free up any way after awhile we found a free shower.

After our shower we went to our cabin got dressed and headed up for dinner.

For dinner we had hamburgers it was really yum.
But dessert was more yum there was jelly, ice cream, brownies and more.

After dessert we headed to bed we talked for awhile and then we fell to sleep.

As we awoke from our sleep we got into our onesies and walked up to breakfast. For breakfast I had eggs on toast yum! At about ten o'clock we headed off to do our first day 2 activity.

Our first day 2 activity which was archery. This was something I had never done before. Let's just admit this I was really bad. After that activity We headed to our next activity which was stream science. So stream science was a pretty cool activity you had a chart and a tray. One of the parents would have to fill our tray up and we had to see if we had any bugs that matched                the ones on the list. Let me say I got some pretty interesting bugs.

Next we walked up to the place where we have our meals and made bread dough for hobo stoves. So to cook the bread we used matches and hay. After we cooked the bread we could eat it. I wasn't fond of it.

Know the bees had calmed down so we went kayaking It was the longest walk ever. But it was well worth it. We had a blast but my dad was so cheeky and splashed me with the cold as water that we were kayaking in. After all our activities for today we had some free time till dinner. We played swing ball it was really fun.

For dinner we had my favourite spaghetti bolognese it was delicious and we had the same dessert as we did last night.

We were exhausted and we fell asleep straight away and before we knew it we heard a knock on the door it was morning we slept in and we got told to hurry up and we were so late we had we had to have jelly for breakfast. After breakfast we were going to do the great Te Wera challenge.

The great Te Wera challenge is a challenge and you have groups of about ten people and everyone is given the same challenges and you have to complete them as fast as you can. You get placed on how fast you are. I am going to tell you what our group did in no particular order.

We sang for weetbix and had to eat a whole dry one. We had to hit a bulls eye on archery. We threw water balloons at the parents. We made a human pyramid. We got whipped cream in our faces. We made our parents and outfit out of newspaper and they had to do the highland fling. We drew a picture of what we could see.

Anyway I really enjoyed camp well it lasted. But after the great Te Wera challenge we had to leave Te Wera campground.

It was a great first camp.
